Print: Almost Strangers

from $29.00

We are walking down the neighborhood stairs when my son yells out to a woman several flights ahead of us. “Hey!” he says, “What’s your name?”

The woman stops, turns around and waits for us to get closer. “Megan,” she replies, smiling.

“Whew. That was close,” he says. “We were almost strangers.”

This is a print from my series, GROWING UPWORDS, where I hand letter and screen print things my son says. Click here to see a short video about the series.

Original 11x14" prints are hand pulled on heavyweight French paper cover stock. Originals are signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. This was a 2-color/2-layer serigraph.

This piece is also available as signed 8x10" and 11×14 archival print giclée (a fancy word for museum-quality reprint).

Framing is not included; those images are just to show you what it looks like. However, 8×10 and 11×14 are standard frame sizes - easy to find at any local store!
