Creative Facilitation

Na Mee's work as a poet and a teaching artist has taught her to use creative practices for all kinds of learning and mindful listening. Embodied, accessible, participatory practices activate us in ways that powerpoints and dialogue alone might not. Na Mee can co-create a session with your organization to meet many agenda goals through creative art teaching techniques. Some example sessions she has facilitated before include envisioning future work, examining our roles in racial justice, de-briefing collective experiences, and more. What are your goals?

What people are saying.

  • "NaMee lead a two-hour session with our group that included discussing vocation, reflecting on past experiences, and dreaming of how our magic can make a meaningful impact on our communities. She managed to take what can often be an intimidating subject (planning your future as a young 20 something) and created a space for us to practically dream of how we can meet the world’s need in tangible ways that are rooted in our authentic selves. She brought laughter, creative thinking, and skilled facilitation to our group. NaMee is gifted in creating spaces that invite others to share their stories, even those who are hesitant to share, and remind us how our experiences and hopes are interconnected. I recommend NaMee to any and all groups, big or small, looking to spark new life in their work and seeking to deepen connection with others. Truly one of the best facilitated experiences I’ve been a part of!"

  • "Na Mee facilitated a powerful session centered around deepening our relationships with ourselves and our locations. Na Mee shared powerful and practical tools to help us grow in awareness and mindfulness in each space we inhabit and person with whom we interact. Na Mee created an open, loving, and welcoming environment that allowed us all to feel safe, supported, and connected. Through thoughtful, well planned, and structured activities, participants were given tools and space to practice in real-time the discipline of noticing joy and delight both as individuals and as communities. This transformative session also equipped us with practical strategies to continue this practice of noticing joy and delight as we move beyond our session together."
